Good... and Bad

We flew back to Bogota Monday and arrived at our hotel around three-ish. The hotel is great. It feels really homey and nice. There's a French-Canadian family here adopting the most adorable little five year old (her name's Dana). Dana and I are best friends already. :) She is the sweetest thing ever! She likes to play with my hair and always wants me to be wearing earrings (which I rarely do, but to please her I've been wearing them much more). Fifteen minutes after I met her she was cuddled on my lap watching a  movie with me. :) Toooooooo Sweettttttt! There's also a Danish family here visiting. They had adopted two Colombian kids in '98 and '01, so they were coming back to show the kids their country.

Our kids seem to like this hotel quite a bit too. There is a Foosball table that they never want to stop playing with. They got me to play a little with them last night but then I managed to pull a tendon or something in wrist. How do I always manage to hurt myself doing the most normal things? I mean, wow. I guess I'm just a little clumsy... (Oh by the way my wrist is almost fine now).

Then that night as we were about to pray and put the kids in bed we received an email from Cecilia (our rep.) Our lawyer had just heard that the judge hadn't even accepted our case yet. This means that we won't be home anytime soon. We we're hoping that we would get the final paper signed within the next couple of days but now it could be more then a week. After the judge accepts our case he still has to do all the stuff judges do (no, I don't know what it is), Then we have up to a week and a half for passports, visas, etc. We we're really hoping to be home before Holy Week but now it looks like we might even miss Easter. We're just praying that the judge does something soon. It would mean so much to all of us to be home before Easter. We would be so grateful if you would pray for the judge to be quick and for us to get home quickly.

Today Sofia went in to the dentist. She had been saying her tooth hurt for a few days but we looked and didn't see anything. Then dad looked this morning and he said that it looked really bad. We got her an appointment with a dentist and she had to have it pulled. Basically her tooth was to rotten to even be filled. It was one of her adult molers so now she has a hole in her mouth (not sure what we'll do about it). She's in pain and not looking too happy. :(

But on a happy note, none of us are dead. No reason we should be but we gotta count our blessings right? ;)
